Thoughts become Things! Anyone who studies personal development knows this is true but how many know the three ingredients that guarantee you Manifest your desires?

Do you know how powerful your thoughts really are? Are you fully aware that these thoughts, all 50,000 per day, are singularly the most powerful influences on everything that happens to you in your life and are the reason you have attracted the people you know, the house you live in and the car you drive?

In fact the sum total of everyone’s thoughts is the very thing that shapes everything that exists, everything that has existed, and everything that will ever exist. You may ask then “if this is true then shouldn’t it be possible to bring into existence anything we desire?”

Well the short simple answer is YES!

It is through the power of deliberate thought that we can create. While thought alone does have the power to bring tangible (cars, houses, boats) and intangible (peace, harmony and joy) things into existence often times this is not enough! Intention, or directed thinking and believing, is enough to create powerful enough thoughts to manifest anything we want but you must also add two other ingredients.

Firstly, your thoughts must be backed by emotion. The more powerful the emotion – the stronger the thought. It is essential to create within you the same feelings that you will have when you actually achieve your desire. You actually do this all the time only in the opposite direction. For example, you think of what you are afraid may happen and all of a sudden you feel frightened, tense and may even start to exhibit some physiological symptoms such as sweating or shaking or just get the shivers. Begin to reverse this method of thinking. Think only of what you do want and conjure up the feelings associated with that. How will it feel to meet and marry that perfect person? How will it feel behind the wheel of that new Mercedes or in the kitchen of that new home?

The second key ingredient of the three is action! It is necessary to be prepared to take some action. This is a key point that many personal development gurus leave out! The action that you need to take will not be strenuous or a toil, it will be enjoyable and feel right to you.

Each of us here on the planet plays their own special role in the complete operation of the Universe. We are all One, interconnected and interdependent. Your desires will almost always come through some form of action and through connection to other people.

Your thoughts do have the power to completely change your life and circumstances. When thoughts are backed by emotion they become an unstoppable force that will carry you to wherever you want to go in life. But you must be willing to take the steps towards your desires when these steps are presented to you. For example thinking and believing you will meet your soul mate will bring you vast opportunities for meeting him/her but you never will if you sit at home all day and do not venture outside! You may find that you begin to get asked to go to places more often or get invited to a place you have never been before. You may even accidentally meet old friends or develop new friendships. This is the Universe setting you on a path to your desires. Take that invitation. Even if it is something you have no desire to do or somewhere you do not want to go, you should accept the invitation. Who knows who you may meet or where you may end up!

So remember, ingredient 1 – thoughts have power. Ingredient 2 – thoughts backed by strong emotion and belief can change the very Universe and create ANYTHING you want. And 3 – action is the last key ingredient to bringing about your desires and living the life of your dreams. Now get out there and start to CREATE!

We can’t control everything that happens to us in life, but as the old saying goes, the only thing we can truly change is our attitude. The mind is a powerful thing, but through centuries-old practices, we can learn to detach ourselves from negative emotions to better deal with personal struggles and grievances. For more than 2,500 years, Buddhist teachings have helped individuals work through loss, fear and anxiety. Mindfulness meditation is the practice of working toward a stable and calm mind, even in troubled times. The benefits of meditation not only help our minds, but also our bodies.

Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche comes from a long distinguished lineage of Buddhist meditation masters. “Mindfulness practice is simple and completely feasible. Just by sitting and doing nothing, we are doing a tremendous amount,” he explains. To get started, he suggests creating a favorable environment to make it easier to practice. There should be a sacredness about one’s place of meditation. Mindfulness meditation is best undertaken in a place of silence that is not too disturbing. Some people create special alcoves in the home with candles, plants, yoga mats and fountains, where they can be at peace to meditate each day. Others retreat to their gardens, an uplifting place of respite. Another group of people prefer the company of other like-minded individuals at a special meditation center.

Once a comfortable place is found, the meditator can start to practice frequently, but for short intervals of time. “Training the mind should be very, very simple,” says Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. “So you could meditate for ten minutes in the morning and ten minutes in the evening, and during that time you are really working with the mind. Then you just stop, get up and go.” He says this technique for mindfulness meditation creates a personal sense of discipline. With longer meditation sessions, it is easy for the mind to wander off to faraway places. On the other hand, by committing to a shorter meditation exercise, the individual is essentially saying, “I am here to train my mind now.”

The most difficult part of mindfulness meditation is learning to let go of the barrage of thoughts that arrive. Meditation teacher Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche instructs us that “No matter what kind of thought comes up, you should say to yourself, ‘That may be a really important issue in my life, but right now is not the time to think about it. Now I’m practicing meditation.’ It gets down to how honest we are, how true we can be to ourselves, during each session.” He adds that it’s the mind’s natural tendency to run wild and we have to recognize that and refrain from trying to force meditation to happen. As each thought arises, we label it as “thinking” and gently return to our meditative breathing, arriving back at the present situation of training the mind. Over time, the meditation methods fade away and we are left with a sense of relaxation and wellness.

Yoga meditation is a valid cross-training method for athletes that has been known to increase flexibility, agility, muscle strength and body endurance. Meditation classes can also help sufferers of depression, arthritis, joint pain and poor flexibility. People working at high-stress jobs may find that meditation helps them to get through the workday and unwind when they get home. There are many different types of yoga to examine. Here are some of the most popular.

Iyengar Yoga Meditation (as developed by Yogi B.K.S. Iyengar) uses a number of props to help individuals reach certain body positions (asanas) and alignments. Students of varying levels can use wooden blocks to raise the floor level or cotton straps to assist in stretching. Many students find the Iyengar meditation methods effective for treating sports injuries or improving flexibility. Your teacher will pay close attention to your precise posing and will help you correct any imperfections so you can achieve the maximum benefit. Iyengar Yoga is best for new students who like the hands-on assistance and learning all the poses.

Sivananda Yoga Meditation blends asanas with a five-point philosophy into all classes. Participants will begin with breathing exercises, followed by posing exercises, followed by deep relaxation meditation and positive affirmations. Diet will be another topic explored in this holistic approach to meditation. Newcomers really like Sivananda because the poses are easy to learn and are familiar. The chanting, meditation and positive nature are enjoyable parts of this type of meditation.

When you participate in yoga meditation, you’re receiving a mental, physical and spiritual workout. You needn’t be devoted to Eastern philosophy or religion to get involved with meditation classes. Since meditation focuses on self-discovery and yoga focuses on improving flexibility, the lessons learned can carry over to just about any faith, race or subset. Those who meditate can all benefit from increased relaxation, self-discipline, better circulation and muscle toning. Choosing the right type of yoga is important because the different styles speak to differing comfort and ability levels. What’s good for one person may not be good for another. Even if you don’t like one type of yoga, you may find solace in another different kind.

Whether a person meditates of not, the use of meditation music can be of great benefit to most people. The meditation music is not complex and uses a series of tones that produce different effects to the mind and body. There are many different uses for this type of music.

When the music was introduced to mass markets, it was found in spas and therapy offices almost exclusively. The ability to create a calming atmosphere with the tones in the music proved beneficial. In many cases an individual would begin to feel more relaxed when they were first introduced to the tones.

Composition of the music differs based on the purpose of the music. Some composers create music that is influenced by their particular meditation technique. Other composers create music that is designed exclusively to create harmony and balance in the listener no matter where they are at or what they are doing. In many cases people find that playing the music in a stressful work area can create a calming environment for the office they are in.

When a person listens to meditation music, they often can feel themselves begin to relax. The music is simple and does not require any complex thinking to identify the patterns in the music. Many sounds from nature are included in the music. A person can listen to several hours of soft music that has a waterfall, or rumbling thunder in the background.

There are some instruments that create a clearer tonal quality for this type of music. A person may find that there is a flute, sitar, tambora, or Tibetan singing bowl used throughout a piece. The pan flute is an especially popular instrument for this type of music because of the ethereal quality of the tones that are produced. The music also is not limited to a regular block of time. It is possible to find meditation music that has no interruption for several hours.

Music today is also composed with subliminal messages embedded in it. This is called affirmative meditation music. It provides positive affirmations throughout the score and, within a few minutes, a person will feel more relaxed and positive. When music is composed to create a relaxing state of mind for sleeping, it is often made using a combination of sounds and tones that begin to work very quickly for most people.

The power of music as it is used to accomplish a purpose has proven valuable for several years. Many studies have been conducted on the effect of music on animals. In some cases, different types of music are played to assess the response of animals. When meditation music is played the animal will often become relaxed.

When used purely for meditative purposes, the music is a valuable component to a successful session. Some people find that the music helps them to focus more on stillness and their inner being. When balancing the mind, body, and spirit through relaxation a person often finds that they can accomplish this much more quickly with music.

A big part of Nada Yoga is based on the Relaxation And Meditation With Music used for meditation. This form of meditation uses tones and sounds to create a path to self realization. Focusing on sounds and tones during Meditation And Relaxation allows a person to strengthen and enhance their focus and awareness. They are also able to develop the skills necessary to attain relaxation in stressful circumstances.

Not-Logical Thinking

What is Not-Logical thinking? The very notion seems ridiculous. How could thinking that is not Logical have any significance, relevance, or value? Come to think of it – How could thinking that is not Logical even be considered as a viable “type” of thinking at all? Logical thinking is the only kind of thinking that makes sense.

If you find yourself in complete agreement with the sentiments expressed above then…

Welcome to a New World of Endless Possibility!

This article will introduce Not-Logical thinking as a distinct style of thinking that is every bit as relevant, useful, and valuable, as Logical thinking. The irrefutable fact is that Not-Logical thinking is capable of producing spectacular results in situations were Logical thinking is hopelessly inadequate.

What is Not-Logic?

Not-Logic is the alter-ego of Logic. Logic owes its very existence to Not-Logic, for how could something be judged as Logical if there were not the Not-Logical to judge against? One could think of Logic in terms of a strainer we pour buckets of raw information through to filter out all the Logical goodness while leaving the worthless Not-Logical waste to swirl down the drain – forever out of sight and out of mind.

Not-Logic challenges this metaphor to reveal a greater truth. Information sifted through the filter of Logic is only good for its intended purpose. The remaining Not-Logical information, rather than being waste that should be discarded, is actually a precious substance that can be endlessly recycled into many different forms and serve a vast multitude of purposes.

The Rudiments of Logic and Not-Logic

The fundamental function of the brain is its ability to associate thoughts and recognize associations that are meaningful and significant. This primal ability represents the raw potential for thinking we are all born with.

Logic is a method of associating thoughts in accordance with a strict criteria, a firm set of rules that can never be violated under any circumstances. The rules of Logic define the criteria of verifying proof. Any connection between associations that does not conform to the rules cannot be considered a Logical connection. Statements of Logic are comprised of a sequence of associations with a beginning, an end, and a number of steps in between. Every step in a sequence is subject to the burden proof to justify that it follows the rules

Logic is a perfect system due to its ability to verify the truth of a statement from inception to conclusion.

Not-Logical thinking is a stark contradiction to Logical thinking in that there is absolutely no criteria by which to judge or justify associations. Not-Logic is the ultimate expression of freedom from any constraints of thinking.

In a sense Not-Logic is the skill of Not-Thinking at all. That is to say Not-Logic is the release from any deliberate control over our thinking. Logical thinking is a process by which we actively direct the work of our conscious mind. Not-Logical thinking is a process of passive observation over the inner workings of our subconscious mind.

It is important to understand that Not-Logical thinking is not a deep meditation as might be engaged by a devout Buddhist monk in the practice of Zen. Not-Logical thinking is a state of mind we pass through many times throughout the course of every day without ever realizing its significance. Those brief moments of emptiness, the space between transitions of one train of thought to another, or the moments that spawn a daydream.

Deliberate use of Not-Logic spawns daydreams with a purpose. A mind left briefly unattended does not just stop thinking. The mind is actually capable of thinking on its own accord without conscious direction.

Remnants of Youth

Not-Logic is too often perceived as something we have grown out of and left far behind, a remnant of innocent youth when we lacked knowledge and life experience. We regard ourselves as matured beyond these childish musings and now live in a realm of sober certitude. As our minds develop through the formative years we tend to focus more on acquiring knowledge and gradually loose perception of the value of Not-Logic. The ability becomes a lost art that gradually deteriorates from a lack of deliberate use.

Deliberate use of Not-Logic revives the brain with exercise in this long forgotten skill and you will rediscover the incredible power that results from the freedom of structured thought.

The Value of Not-Logic

The value of Logic is in its ability to analyze and prove information is correct. The value of Not-Logic is in its ability to generate new ideas which is something that Logic alone can never accomplish.

The notion that Not-Logic can always be proven wrong only holds true when Logic itself is the measure of judgment. Logic is proven correct by the steps taken to reach a conclusion. Not-Logic is proven correct purely by the results it produces. The steps taken to achieve the result are completely irrelevant. Logic can always be later utilized to prove the correctness of a Not-Logically derived conclusion. Once Logic has discerned a series of steps that reach the same conclusion there is no way to tell if a new idea was discovered Logically or Not-Logically.

Logic vs Not-Logic

The following chart illustrates the essential differences between Logic and Not-Logic.

Logic

Is a Process of Reasoning.

Based on Judgment.

Focused on Proof.

Is Bound by a Rigid Set of Rules.

Follows a Direction.

Ends in a Conclusion.

Follows Existing Patterns.

Is Used to Develop Existing Ideas.

Not-Logic

Is a Process of Imagination.

Based on Movement.

Focused on Exploration.

Is Completely Free of Any Rules.

Creates New Directions.

Never Ends. There is No Conclusion.

Seeks to Discover New Patterns.

Is Used to Generate New Ideas.

The Relevance of Not-Logic

Logic is always relevant and always makes perfect sense. It would naturally follow that Not-Logic must always be Not-Relevant and always makes Not-Sense. But how can something irrelevant and senseless be useful, valuable, or have any significant meaning, why even consider it?

Not-Logical thinking is not a “better” way of thinking. Both modes of thinking are equally useful and relevant and must be used together to achieve optimal results. There is no conflict between Logic and Not-Logic, they are complimentary. They work and play together in a synergistic relationship like a continuous game of Leap-Frog. Not-Logic takes wild leaps into the unknown to explore for something new. When a discovery is made, Logic trails behind to discern the steps of a Logical path that reaches the same destination. Notice that Not-Logic always comes first, Not-Logic always leads the way.

Our educational systems would have us believe that Not-Logic dwells in the dark underworld of chaos, ignorance, and confusion – were Logic is the light of truth, intelligence, and the perfect symmetry of orderly organized bliss.

In reality Not-Logic as that which takes fearless majestic leaps into the unknown darkness and then shines its own light as a beacon for Logic to find its sure but clumsy way to follow. Logic can literally take years to complete a journey Not-Logic can travel in a fraction of a second at the speed of thought. Even in the journey of a thousand miles Logic can explain and justify every single step in the most painstaking detail. There is no question of the value in the Logical approach to understanding a journey, yet the destination is still the same.

The Rise of Logic

Logic would not exist if it were not for Not-Logic. In fact, how’s this for a paradox – Logic itself was created from Not-Logic. Not-Logic is the elemental thinking ability we are all born with, the natural organic expression of our being, a wondrous gift that to date has defied concise explanation.

Logic is an artificial man-made system. Like the Frankenstein’s monster of thinking, Logic was created by sewing together select aspects of Not-Logic to create a new entity with a life of its own, conceived, constructed, and breathed into being no doubt by the most devious of Not-Logical minds. And true to the monster’s form – Logic, once aware of its own existence, has sought domination and turned on its Not-Logical creator with vengeance. Logic has since devoted itself to wreaking havoc in the cranial universe, sowing its Logical seed and determined to obliterate any Not-Logic that dares to stand in its way.

Logic would never have the opportunity to answer a question if it were not for Not-Logic’s ability of raising questions.

Not-Logic is strictly concerned with movement from one idea to the next deliberately exploring purely for the sake of discovering of something new. Not-Logic never stops to consider whether an idea is right or wrong, it is strictly concerned with where it might lead. An idea, which seams wrong, may still lead somewhere very useful.

Consider the statement 1 + 1 = 3

The above statement is completely illogical. The mind immediately recognizes it as false because it does not fit the Logic of mathematics. It is therefore judged as irrelevant and summarily rejected. Once an idea is rejected Logic breaks down, there is no Logical way to proceed. Although this statement makes no sense Logically it makes perfect sense Not-Logically.

Proving the Relevance of Not-Logic

Exercise – Find the Not-Logical relevance of the following statements.

1 + 1 = Dancing

1 + 1 = Sight

1 + 1 = Bicycle

1 + 1 = Flight

1 + 1 = Ostrich

1 + 1 = Book

Potential answers are:

1 foot + 1 foot = Dancing

1 eye + 1 eye = Sight

1 wheel + 1 wheel = Bicycle

1 wing + 1 wing = Flight

1 leg + 1 leg = Ostrich

1 cover + 1 cover = Book

The above exercise is meant to illustrate the fundamental difference between Logic and Not-Logic. Logic dictates that 1 + 1 will always equal 2, no other conclusion is possible. Not-Logic dictates that 1 + 1 has the potential to equal absolutely anything. Not-Logic can find meaning where Logic finds none. Not-Logic can take steps in new and potentially valuable directions were Logic can only shrug its shoulders in despair.

Successfully generating new ideas with Not-Logic depends on your ability to temporarily suspend the urge to apply the judgment of Logic and maintain deliberate focus on bold exploration with Not-Logic.

You Had It All Along

For all its mystery and intrigue Not-Logical thinking is a very simple, well defined method that you will understand and begin to utilize with practice. Not-Logical thinking is not something new to learn, it is something that must be remembered. Most people are surprised to discover that they had the ability all along. They were simply never informed of its existence, never shown its incredible value, never properly trained in its use, and never had the advantage of the powerful tools available to learn how to use it effectively.

Binaural beats are actually nothing new. They have been used for over 150 years. They are safe and gentle beats. They will have positive benefits in your life. Binaural beats are a scientifically proven technology, which will put your brain into a high performance harmonious mode in just eight to nine minutes.

Binaural beats are not costly and easy to get. You can get the best and cheapest beats here: binaural beats

For exploring deep levels of consciousness, using binaural beats is one of the best tools around. Through the beats you can more easily practice lucid dreaming. Apparently binaural beats can be used with any astral projection technique, or for meditation. Meditation works really well, I know from experience. Yes, binaural beats will make meditation and astral projection work even better. Naturally it is impossible that this technology will automatically make you experience astral projection, but through relaxation, focus on your intention to project your consciousness out of your body, you will find yourself brought into the experience much more effortlessly through these beats. These beats are great: binaural beat

On the other hand, binaural beats will automatically put you into a meditative state, that only the masters can achieve, literally within minutes. Scared Earth binaural beats meditation is one of the best binaural beats meditations around, and it will really help you if you are not good at natural meditation. The quickest way for you to gain a true meditative state, if you are inexperienced, is through Sacred Earth. It connects you to the moment, and sometimes you will see mysterious patterns, your higher self, or your spirit animal just by listening to it. Its awesome!

This is how binaural beats work: auditory brainstem responses are created by the beats, originating in the superior olivary nucleus of each hemisphere. This is a result of the interaction of two different offset auditory impulses, originating in opposite ears. The difference between the two tones is experienced as the two wave forms mesh in and out of phase within the superior olivary nuclei. But these binaural beats are not heard in the ordinary sense of the word. It is perceived as an auditory beat and theoretically can be used to entrain specific neural rhythms.

Basically this means you can put your mind into deep positive states of meditation just by listening to a recording; these are states that only the masters can achieve! The best recording of this kind is the Scared Earth binaural beats meditation. Get it here now: meditation

It is through breathing meditation that you want to reach a calm state of mind. The chitta bhumis, five states of mind included: ksipta, mudha, viksipta, ekagra and nirodha. The first three are considered hindrances. Ekagra and nirodha, the last two, are considered yoga. Living from your core self is the meaning of meditation. This self is not your ego, race, personality, or creed, but your essential nature, which is pure consciousness. Inspiration, creativity, love, charity, and enlightenment arise from this spiritual state. Many of the secrets of the universe are kept here. It is a holistic state of oneness where you can find truth, void of thought, where hidden mystical powers might be found.

Breathing meditation is a great way to change the mind. It will help you encourage and develop concentration, clarity, and emotional positivity. Breathing meditation helps you to learn the patterns and habits of the mind, and it will cultivate new, more positive ways of being. With patience and discipline these calm and focused states of mind will profoundly take you to a deep, tranquil and energised state of mind. Breathing meditation will take you to a whole new knowledge of life. There are countless meditation practices, and just about every religion in the world practices one form of mediation or the other. Get it here: breathing meditation

This mind training will help to create a calm and positive state of mind. There are two basic meditations that develop these qualities: the mindfulness of breathing and loving-kindness meditation.

There is a biofeedback meditation game called The Journey To Wild Divine, which is the most modern entertaining and awesome way to learn breathing meditation and much more. It is so calming and reveals so much about who I really am, I personally love playing this game all the time! This is a great biofeedback video game. If you have never played a video game before, you should now! You should get it right now: great biofeedback game

OK so this is how the game works, basically you wear a three finger sensor that tracks your body’s energy levels; so as you move through enchanting and mystical landscapes you actually use the power of your thoughts, feelings, breath, awareness, and senses to move objects, and change things within the realm just by thinking, feeling, and breathing. WOW! As wise mentors guide you throughout the realm, they empower you with yoga, breathing meditation, and other meditation skills. Its just so much fun discovering the Wild Divine realm, and discovering myself; discovering my essential nature as pure consciousness. I have seen my true being through the Wild Divine, and the hidden powers within me.

If you think the Wild Divine biofeedback breathing meditation is just a game, you are wrong, its a detailed seminar on harmonizing mind, body, and spirit, made into a peaceful, fun, and spiritual game. This is for advanced and beginner alike, and it will drastically improve your meditation skills. Take a look at the video, you won’t be disappointed. Learning proper breathing meditation with Wild Divine is super easy. You can get it here: great meditation
